SZA performs “Shirt” single on SNL
On December 3’s edition of Saturday Night Live, SZA was the show’s musical performer. The singer appeared in multiple SNL skits, as she went on to perform her latest “Shirt” single. This came as Keke Palmer hosted the show, while also announcing her pregnancy.
Fans in attendance applauded SZA’s performance on stage, as Shirt has been a big record for her lately. She had initially teased this single since 2021, but finally released, it, in October. At the same time, SZA also put out the video for it. The release of Shirt as a single overall had been delayed before, due to the video needing adjustments.
This past week, SZA also teased the cover art of her upcoming “S.O.S.” album. She hadn’t fully confirmed if this is the case, though. The album’s official release date has yet to publicly be revealed, either. It’s been a very long time since SZA released a project, as her last one came back in June 2017, with her debut studio album, “Ctrl.” That debuted at number three in the US, and is 2x platinum. SZA did release the deluxe edition this past summer, though, to celebrate its 5-year anniversary.
