Megan Thee Stallion loses cash and jewelry in LA home break-in
On Friday night, Megan Thee Stallion revealed that she would be taking a “break.” This would be in effect after her Saturday Night Live hosting and performance event, this weekend.
Now, it appears that this break is happening, due to Megan’s Los Angeles home being broken into. Prior to announcing this break, Meg tweeted out “Material things can be replaced but I’m glad everyone is safe.”
According to TMZ, more information about this situation is surfacing. On Thursday night, this home was broken into, as $300,000-$400,000 worth of jewelry, cash, and electronics were stolen. The thieves made their way into Megan’s bedroom, and were able to take these luxurious items.
These suspects are said to be two men who wore hoodies, who broke a door, at the back of the home. Thankfully though, Megan was not at this home, at the time of the incident. No arrests have been made, but police were able to obtain surveillance footage.
It’s also unclear how long that Megan will go on this “break” for. Megan’s SNL appearance was initially announced last month, as it’s her second hosting and performance gig, with the iconic show. She also hosted and performed there, back in the fall of 2020.
