Lil Baby’s on pace for another number one debut with “It’s Only Me”
On Friday, Lil Baby released his highly anticipated third studio album, “It’s Only Me.” This was led by singles such as “In A Minute” and “Heyy.” Baby delivered a lengthy 23 tracks, including appearances from EST Gee, Young Thug, Pooh Shiesty, Future, and more.
Fans of Baby have since expressed approval for It’s Only Me, while others feel that the records on it should’ve been more versatile. Regardless though, It’s Only Me is projected to have a massive first week.
According to Chart Data and Hits Daily Double, It’s Only Me is projected to sell betwen 185,000-210,000 units, in its first week. This would mark Baby’s second straight number one solo studio album. His sophomore album, “My Turn,” became Baby’s first number one project, in February 2020. Last summer, Baby had another number one project, with the Lil Durk joint album, “The Voice Of The Heroes.”
Lil Baby has also scored other major collaborations, in 2022. He recently recorded “The World Is Yours To Take” for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, as he’ll also perform there, in Qatar. This past week, Baby also appeared in a “Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” video game ad, with Nicki Minaj, Pete Davidson, and others.
