Kendrick Lamar to headline 2023 Primavera Sound festival in Spain
In the summer of 2023, the annual Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona and Madrid will be held. The festival has now just revealed the official lineup of performers, and it’s very star-studded, to say the least.
However, among the headliners that are set to hit the stage across Spain, are Kendrick Lamar, Calvin Harris, Halsey, and more. Other notable stars in hip-hop include Pusha T, Kendrick’s cousin Baby Keem, and more.
Kendrick has had a massive year, as he released his fifth studio album, “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.” That went on to become his third straight number one album, and earned seven new Grammy nominations, due to this success.
Keem also saw huge breakout success in 2021, with his “Family Ties” single, featuring Kendrick. That record appeared on his “The Melodic Blue” album, which debuted at number five in the US.
Pusha T’s first album since 2018, “It’s Almost Dry,” was also released in the spring. That went on to become his first number one album, and is Grammy-nominated.
