Musical Sensation st4r is growing like wild-fire and is showing zero signs of slowing down! Recently releasing his latest song, “cosign” and also releasing a video with it, he has his foot on the gas. Drawing comparison to a XXXtentacion and Ty Fontaine but with a pop feel, he is very unique in his approach to music. This is one of his best songs to date and truly embodies his creativity as an artist. He is currently one of the fastest rising artists from the Mississauga area, and rightfully so. He releases a smash hit earlier this year with electronic superstars Cat Dealers titled, “Pressure” which has amassed over 400k streams on spotify alone in only 4 months!
We asked st4r when did music become a part of his journey and he said, “I was always singing for as long as I can remember but I started recording my own tracks when I was 16. I started because a couple of the homies would just link up n freestyle. We’d show each other written verses but 2 of my friends (Galaxy, and Jay Isaiah) were already taking music seriously and told me I should start making my own tracks.” Fresh in the game but no rookie to creating, st4r is well on his way. He says his message to the world is, “Don’t get caught up in doing things to make other people happy. Do what makes you happy because at the end of the day it’s your life.”
