21 Savage helps feed Atlanta families for Thanksgiving
Over the last five years, 21 Savage has established himself as one of the biggest artists in the industry. He made that known this fall as well, as he released a joint album with Drake, in October. This was their “Her Loss” project, which contained 16 tracks, including a collaboration with Travis Scott. That went on to easily debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and was one of the best selling albums of 2022.
In the aftermath of 21’s Her Loss success, he continues to give back to communities in Atlanta. He and his Leading by Example Foundation helped feed over 300 Atlanta families, for Thanksgiving, the day before the holiday. This was part of their 4th annual Thanksgiving dinner at the Wade Walker Park Family YMCA.
21’s mother, Heather, also joined her son and the Leading By Example Foundation, to give back in the Dekalb County area. Among the food items distributed, were turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and other Thanksgiving essentials.
21’s Thanksgiving dinner event comes several months after he also assisted local Atlanta students, for back to school supplies. This was his 7th annual “Issa Back 2 School Drive,” as he was able to distribute supplies, backpacks, and uniforms, to nearly 2,500 students.
